French giants, Paris Saint-Germain, have finally decided not to make a move for Manchester United striker, Alexis Sanchez, during the January transfer window.
United is open to selling Sanchez during the transfer window in January, with the forward keen on joining PSG.
But The Independent UK is now reporting that PSG have no interest in signing the Chilean international, leaving him stuck in Manchester.
Sanchez joined the Red Devils in a player-swap deal that saw Henrikh Mkhitaryan join Arsenal.
The Chilean earns around £400,000-a-week at United but has just netted four goals and has been dropped by manager, Jose Mourinho in recent weeks.
Sanchez is reportedly fed up with life at Old Trafford and is seeking an exit less than one year into his lucrative contract.
Meanwhile, Spanish television show, El Chiringuito, had reported earlier this week that Sanchez had instructed his agent, Fernando Felicevich to find him a new club, and his representative has begun talks with Real Madrid.
The report also claimed that Felicevich is discussing the possibility of Sanchez making a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the January transfer window.
Sanchez will hope to feature for United when they take on Crystal Palace on November 24 in the Premier League.

Super Eagles legend Jay-Jay Okocha is looking forward to the upcoming “clash of titans” between Bafana Bafana and Nigeria in their 2019 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier at FNB Stadium in South Africa on Saturday.
Okocha, who is widely regarded as the best Nigerian player of his generation, hardly misses a fixture between the two countries.
“It will be an interesting game . . . explosive,” said Okocha. Okocha is currently in Mzansi on a Bundesliga/StarSat legends tour to promote the German top league, looking to increase its fan base on the continent.

He also questioned the mentality of African players and their lack of hunger to succeed in European leagues. This hampers national teams in international tournaments.
“I think players are really not ambitious anymore. They are scared to go abroad, scared to fight and challenge to be the best. In my day we had that mentality to go and prove that we belonged among the world’s best.
“These days our players are easily satisfied with little. That mentality has to change. Football federations also need to get the structures right and set themselves targets.”

Lega Serie A has confirmed AC Milan will be without the Argentina forward for two matches after his red card against Juventus.
Gonzalo Higuain has been handed a two-match ban after an on-pitch meltdown following his dismissal in AC Milan’s 2-0 defeat to his parent club Juventus on Sunday.
Higuain endured a nightmare showing against Juve, missing a penalty before receiving his marching orders in the second half.
The Argentina international had to be led off the pitch by team-mates after he reacted furiously to referee Paolo Mazzoleni’s decision to show him a straight red card.
Higuain was initially booked for dissent but was dismissed for persisting with his complaints to the official.
Lega Serie A on Tuesday announced the 30-year-old would be forced to sit out two matches.
The 30-year-old apologised to fans for the incident, but claimed that his emotions got the better of him during the game.
“It seemed an unfair foul, I was fouled as far as I’m concerned. I was cautioned but I did not insult anyone,” he told Milan TV.
“I apologised to the club, the fans, the coach and my companions because these episodes must be avoided.
“We are human, we feel emotions, the game was not going the right way and it was one of those days.”
Higuain’s former Real Madrid team-mate Cristiano Ronaldo also came out in his defence after the match, explaining how he intervened in order to calm down the situation.
“I told him to calm down, as he risked an even worse ban,” Ronaldo said to Sky Sport Italia.
“He didn’t do much, he was annoyed at losing the game. That’s understandable. I hope he is not punished too severely.”
The two-game ban means Higuain will miss the the trip to Lazio on November 25 and the visit of Parma a week later.

Chelsea ace, Eden Hazard has identified former Blues star, Joe Cole, as the player that convinced him to signed for the Stamford Bridge club.
Hazard said he spoke with Cole before he joined the West London club from Lille back in 2012.
According to the Belgium international, Cole, who earlier today announced his retirement from football, kept advising him that Chelsea was the best club for him.
Recall that Cole on Tuesday announced his retirement from football.
Hazard has been on top form under manager, Maurizio Sarri, this season.
He is currently the Premier League top goal scorer this term.
The forward will hope to lead Chelsea to victory when they take on Crystal Palace on November 24.
“I spoke to Cole before I signed for Chelsea,” Hazard told Chelsea’s official website.

Manchester United manager, Jose Mourinho is reportedly ready to sell the likes of Marcos Rojo and Eric Bailly in the January transfer window in order to bring in new defenders for the club.
Mourinho identified the likes of Toby Alderweireld, Harry Maguire, Yerry Mina, Jerome Boateng and Diego Godin as centre-back targets last summer, but the club refused to pursue any of them.
According to The Telegraph UK, United’s chiefs now want to cash in on Rojo and Bailly, with the likes of Tottenham’s Toby Alderweireld and Inter’s Skriniar on Mourinho’s radar.
Bailly, who has played only five times for United, has not featured for Mourinho’s side since the 3-2 victory over Newcastle last month.
Rojo, on the other hand, has not featured for Mourinho’s first team squad this term.
Defenders, Chris Smalling and Victor Lindelof have been preferred to Bailly and Rojo in the heart of defence for the Red Devils.
Mourinho’s side have conceded 21 goals in 12 Premier League games so far this season.
United will take on Crystal Palace on November 24 at Old Trafford after the international break.

Egyptian legend, Mohamed Aboutrika has been sentenced to a year in jail on charges of tax evasion, local media reported on Tuesday.
The News Agency of Nigeria, NAN, reports that a commercial and financial crimes court in Cairo passed the sentence against Aboutrika in absentia on Monday, the state-run al-Ahram newspaper reported.
The court found Aboutrika guilty of evading taxes on earnings of 710,000 Egyptian pounds ($40,000) for doing advertisements for soft drinks and a telecoms firm.
The paper said the court ordered the former player who now lives in Qatar to pay 20,000 pounds as a bond to turn the prison term into a suspended sentence.
Aboutrika, 40, played 100 times for Egypt from 2001-13, scoring 38 goals and helping his country win the African Nations Cup in 2006 and 2008.

Super Eagles star, Moses Simon has revealed what he expects when Nigeria tackle South Africa in the 2019 African Cup of Nations, AFCON, qualifying fixture on November 17.
The Levante forward says he expects Gernot Rohr’s men to defeat the Bafana Bafana at the FNB Stadium on Saturday in front of their home fans.
Rohr’s men head to the game after defeating Libya 3-2 in their last game, while South Africa played 1-1 draw with Seychelles at home.

Barcelona legend, Andres Iniesta has said that Ernesto Valverde’s side are the favourite candidates to win this season’s Champions League, La Liga and Copa Del Rey.
Iniesta, who left Barca for Japanese side, Vissel Kobe in the summer, believes the Camp Nou club have unique players that can make them win all the titles this term.
Barca are currently on top of the Spanish topflight league table with 24 points from 12 games.
The La Liga champions became the first club to qualify for the Champions League round of 16 knockout stages following their 1-1 draw with Inter Milan.
“Barcelona have unique players and I see them candidates to win all the titles,” Iniesta told Cadena Ser.

Arsenal striker Alexandre Lacazette has pulled out of the France squad for their upcoming internationals – just hours after being enlisted as cover by the World Cup winners.

Former France midfielder Samir Nasri is to undergo a medical at West Ham before a proposed move to the London club.
Nasri is allowed to start training again this month after completing an 18-month doping ban.
It is understood the 31-year-old former Arsenal and Manchester City player will join the Hammers for an initial six months with the option to extend.
He will be able to play from 1 January, 2019 and would be reunited with one of his bosses at City, Manuel Pellegrini.
Nasri most recently played for Turkish club Antalyaspor, but his contract terminated on 31 January this year.
A month later he was banned, initially for six months, for using an intravenous drip treatment that contravened World Anti-Doping Agency (Wada) rules, leading to a Spanish Anti-Doping investigation.

Jose Mourinho has behaved “like a big baby” and Manchester United will only improve under a different manager, says Premier League winner Chris Sutton.
Mourinho’s United lost 3-1 to derby rivals Manchester City on Sunday, leaving them eighth in the table.
After the match, he said City had benefited from playing two “friendly” matches beforehand, while United were “fatigued” after beating Juventus.
Sutton said those comments were “disrespectful” and “utter rubbish”.
City beat Southampton 6-1 in the league and Shakhtar Donetsk 6-0 in the Champions League before playing United, who defeated Bournemouth 2-1 and beat Juve by the same scoreline.
Speaking on BBC Radio 5 live’s Monday Night Club, former Blackburn and Celtic striker Sutton added:
United were outclassed. It was like watching Manchester versus Manchester reserves.
“There is an enormous gap between them and City, and things aren’t going to change unless they change the manager.
“What was most galling for me were Mourinho’s comments after the game – kicking off, behaving like a big baby. When is it going to stop?”

Liverpool’s Daniel Sturridge has been charged by the Football Association with misconduct for alleged breaches of its betting rules in January this year.
It is alleged he breached one rule relating to betting on football, and one which covers providing information relating to football which has been “obtained by virtue of his position” and “is not publicly available”.
A Liverpool spokesman said Sturridge, 29, had co-operated fully “throughout this process” and “stated categorically that he has never gambled on football”.
The England international has been given until 18:00 GMT on Tuesday, 20 November to respond to the charge.
The Liverpool spokesman added: “As with any issue of this nature, we will allow the process to be concluded in its entirety before making any further comment.”
Sturridge, who joined Liverpool from Chelsea in 2013, spent the second half of last season at West Brom after moving on loan on 29 January.
He has won 26 caps for England, the last of which came against Lithuania in October 2017.

Antonio Conte has hit back at Sergio Ramos, after he was warned by the defender about becoming Real Madrid’s next manager.
The former Chelsea boss was one of the favourites to replace Julen Lopetegui, who was sacked by Madrid two weeks ago.
But when asked about Conte’s potential rival and the Italian’s reputation of being a disciplinarian, Ramos said: “Respect is earned, it is not imposed.”
Conte has since ruled himself out of the running to take a new job while the season is still ongoing.
And the 49-year-old also issued a direct response to the warning he received from Ramos.
“When a coach arrives at a team he must bring education and respect, something that he would expect from the players too,” Conte told Rai Sport.
“When this goes wrong, the problems begin.
“We Italian coaches have a great culture of work and when you join a new club you can’t change everything, you must try and do it very gradually.

A former Real Madrid star, Santiago Solari has been appointed by the club to coach the team on a permanent basis.
Interim Real Madrid manager Santiago Solari was appointed permanent coach on Monday after overseeing a startling upturn in the European champions’ fortunes since he stepped in to replace Julen Lopetegui, AFP has reported.
“Everything is in order. Real Madrid have worked out his contract and there are no problems,” the Spanish football federation stated.
Solari has led Real to four wins out of four since being installed on a caretaker basis following Lopetegui’s sacking last month.

The Manchester United duo will miss Les Bleus’ clashes with the Netherlands and Uruguay, and have been replaced by two fellow Premier League players.
Manchester United pair Paul Pogba and Anthony Martial have both been ruled out of France’s squad for their upcoming round of international fixtures.
It has been confirmed that Pogba and Martial would miss out with thigh and adductor complaints respectively, with Arsenal’s Alexandre Lacazette and Tottenham’s Moussa Sissoko called up as replacements.

Juventus manager, Massimiliano Allegri says he is very happy at the club amid reports of him getting interests from Premier League giants, Manchester United.
Allegri was heavily linked with a move to United before the transfer window closed in the summer.
The Italian was offered a three-year contract by United worth €9million to replace under-fire Jose Mourinho at Old Trafford.
Allegri has, however, insisted that he hopes to stay at the Turin club for many years.
Speaking after winning the 2018 edition of the Golden Bench award for the best coach in the Serie A, Allegri told Sportmediaset on Monday: “It was not easy after a daring defeat like the one against Manchester United.
“We were a bit stunned because it was from April that we did not lose a match, but the boys played a serious match, both from the defensive and offensive point of view.”
Allegri added: “My future? Surely an experience abroad would be nice. But I am fine at Juventus. I am at a big team, a solid club that works for the future. We share everything and I hope to stay here for a long time.”

Antonio Conte has revealed he did not become Real Madrid’s manager, because he wants to start with his next club after the season ends.
After being sacked by Chelsea in the summer, the 49-year-old was one of the leading candidates to replace Julen Lopetegui, who was dismissed by Madrid two weeks ago.
But Madrid opted not to bring Conte to the Santiago Bernabeu and instead promoted Santiago Solari from their Castilla side, to manage the first team for the remainder of the season.
“I’m calm, I always try to update myself and talk with other coaches,” Conte told Sky Sports Italy.
“We are waiting for next year.”
