Naira Marley is a Nigerian Musician and a song writer with the real name Azeez Fashola. He was born in Agege area of Lagos state Nigeria before he relocated to Peckham when he was 11 year old.
He is a flexible musician with musical style of hip hop infused with melody.

He came to limelight after the release of his hit single “Is A Goal” which he features the YBNL Boss “Olamide” and Lil Kesh of Yagi Nation. The song was used as the official song to support the Supper Eagles of Nigeria at the 2018 FIFA world cup in Rusia.
The singer has never planned or imagined to be a musician, his main focus was to be an MC and a voice cover artist not until he discover his music talent.

Naira Marley who pleaded not guilty before Justice Nicolas Oweibo has been remanded in prison custody until his bail application is determined.
The judge adjourned his case to May 30, 2019 for further hearing of his bail application.
